I am pleased to announce that The Spirit Archer and Campaign of the Gods are now only 99c/77p each on Amazon Kindle. If ever there was time to check out two of these 'Hopfield Tales', it is now.
Any reviews would be greatly appreciated, too.
The Spirit Archer
Some secrets are meant to be shared; and a boy’s encounter with England’s most legendary archer will change his life forever.
In 1237, a man journeys to a priory in Yorkshire to seek refuge and treatment for battle wounds. He is betrayed and murdered. His final, dying act is to fire an arrow through a window, asking to be buried where it lands.
Nearly eight hundred years later, a schoolboy’s incredible discovery will lead to a friendship that will alter his life forever.
And he’ll hear some tales and secrets of England’s most legendary archer of all.

5.0 out of 5 stars A fantastic and very entertaining book January 25, 2013
At first I thought that I wouldn't like the book but the more I got into it, the more I enjoyed reading it. This is an excellent story that brings Vikings and creatures from the ancient world into the modern world of today. Talk about culture shock.

By Debzi F - This short story is absolutely full of action, making it an exciting and interesting page turner. It's also manages to be funny, with some down to earth characters and bizarre hapenings. As well as all this, it's also educational and with no prior knowledge of viking history, i feel like i learnt a lot too. Such a lot packed in!
